MEET TARA.
As a Registered Dietitian, I work closely and collaboratively with my clients to support their individual needs and health goals. Together, we build something that doesn’t resemble a diet, but encourages a lifestyle that becomes second-nature.
I went into this field knowing all of the misinformation, hype-diets, and false expectations that cloud the word “nutrition.” Working opposite that narrative, I guarantee results and prioritize accountability while ensuring that every step of the way is in favor of your health and well-being.
My practice is grounded in meeting each person where they’re at, and the success that comes from being genuine and non-judgmental. With me, you will receive top of the line, person-centered care tailored to your unique circumstances.
In addition to my undergraduate studies in Nutrition and Dietetics, I completed my supervised practice in both hospital and sub-acute care settings. My work experience includes 6+ years working in private practice and as a dietitian in an intensive outpatient program for adolescents struggling with eating disorders. I am a Certified Dietitian Nutritionist (CDN) in the state of New York and currently in supervised practice to receive a Certified Eating Disorder Registered Dietitian (CEDRD) certification through the International Association for Eating Disorder Professionals. I speak English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
